Ddraig Wern Newcastle Emlyn is the newest of the Ddraig Wern Club Family. It began as an extension of the Junior Club run by the Leisure Centre and is growing from week to week. Currently an extension of Ddraig Wern Carmarthen, Newcastle Emlyn is due to hold its first AGM at the beginning of the 2008-9 season. |

There is a particularly strong Adult contingent at Newcastle Emlyn and many of our fencers started as beginners. One of our members, Jessi Hodge, recently fenced for Wales at the Junior Quad (see photo above right). 15 minute individual lessons are included in the club fees. At Ddraig Wern Gwernyfed we believe that fencing is for everyone - and because of that Phil and Meg provide kit not only for steam fencing, but electric too! Kit can be hired free of charge for competitions and even breeches are available! |
