Ddraig Wern Carmarthen |
2008 - 2009 Season |
Ddraig Wern Carmarthen was originally establised in January 2006. However in September 2007 we moved from the showground to our new venue at Trinity College. These spacious halls with excellent blue rubber flooring have given us plenty of space to expand into. |

The classes at Carmarthen are split into two groups. The first is an U13 Epee and Sabre session where small classes and experienced coaches are able to use the high-tech scoring equipment. The second, senior, session is for over 13s of any age and ability. |
Our senior members (over 13s) has a broad membership. From teenagers to veterans we welcome all ages and all abilities. From September 2008 the club will be using the entire hall, making room for more group lessons and extra pistes. Individual lessons are available throughout the Senior session, unless a beginners class is running, and are included in the club fees. |

What makes us different? |
At Ddraig Wern Carmarthen we believe that fencing is for everyone - and because of that Phil and Meg provide kit not only for steam fencing, but electric too! Kit can be hired free of charge for competitions and even breeches are available! |
